Installation
|

Paperback :
- Download the file paperbak_lequipe.zip.
- Unzip the file in c:\sierra\gpl\layout\.
- Make a backup of your gpl.exe.
- Download Resource Hacker or XN Resource Editor.
- Install the program and start it.
- Click on File -> Open -> gpl.exe.
- Open String Table -> 72 -> 0. BEFORE EDITING
- Replace "Grand Prix News" by " ".
- Replace "Edition" by " ".
- Replace "147" by " ".
- Replace "35 cents" by " ". AFTER EDITING
- Click on "Compil Script", then CTRL+S.
- Close the program and start GPL.
The Mod65 use the same paperbak.pbf than the Mod67.
If you used my Mod65 Layout you need a paperbak.pbf named paperc65.pbf.
If you want to use this newspaper with Mod69, make a copy of paperbak.pbf in c:\sierra\gpl\layout\ and change file name to paper69w.pbf. No need to edit the gpl69w.exe if you build your executable with an already edited gpl.exe.
If you want to use this newspaper with Mod66, make a copy of paperbak.pbf in c:\sierra\gpl\layout\ and change file name to paperc66.pbf. No need to edit the gplc66.exe if you build your executable with an already edited gpl.exe.
Driver pictures :
- Unzip all pbf files in c:\sierra\gpl\layout\.
Track bwpic files :
- Unzip the file in c:\sierra\gpl\track\ (keep the folders).
